Job Summary

The Insurance Broker is responsible for advising clients on life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection solutions that meet their financial protection needs. The role involves assessing individual and business clients’ circumstances, providing regulated advice, sourcing suitable policies from insurers, and maintaining long-term client relationships in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Provide professional advice on life insurance, critical illness, and income protection products
• Conduct detailed fact-finds to assess clients’ financial needs, health considerations, and risk exposure
• Research and recommend suitable insurance solutions from a panel of providers or the wider market
• Clearly explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and premiums to clients
• Complete applications, underwriting documentation, and compliance records accurately
• Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and medical professionals as required
• Manage policy renewals, reviews, and ongoing client servicing
• Assist clients with policy amendments, claims support, and insurer negotiations
• Ensure all advice and documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, legislation, and market developments
