Conveyancing Solicitor – Derry | £40,000–£50,000 | Full-time or Part-time

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor ready to lead your own desk in a well-established local law firm?

Our client is a respected, multi-practice solicitors firm based in Derry
, known for high-quality client service and a supportive working environment. As the sole conveyancer in the practice, you'll enjoy autonomy in your work, with the backing of dedicated legal secretarial support. Ideally 5+ years PQE, but strong junior solicitors will also be considered as will more senior practitioners.

• Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion

• Advise clients on all stages of the property transaction process

• Draft and review contracts, title documents, leases, and deeds

• Conduct title checks and coordinate with estate agents, mortgage providers, and opposing solicitors

• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

• Resolve issues or disputes that may arise during transactions

• Maintain accurate, detailed records of all matters handled

• Autonomy & Impact – Lead the conveyancing function and shape the client experience

• Support – Full-time legal secretary assigned to assist you

• Flexibility – Willing to accommodate part-time working for the right person

• Quality Clients – Handle matters for residential developers and HNW individuals

• Strong background in residential conveyancing, ideally with 5+ years PQE

• Able to work independently and take full ownership of your caseload

• Excellent drafting and communication skills

• Approachable, detail-focused, and client-service driven
