• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other designated areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking their best.
• Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, disinfecting high‑touch surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in warehouses or manufacturing facilities, including equipment cleaning and debris removal.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch‑ups (residential painting), and ensuring equipment is operational.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Support portering duties by moving furniture or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning or maintenance projects.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various flooring types.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
• Preferred qualifications include janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings, residential painting skills for touch‑up projects, facilities maintenance knowledge, and prior porter or custodial experience.
