Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim HR Transformation Director to lead a key people and workforce transformation programme.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will oversee HR change activity, improve governance, drive delivery pace, and deliver savings and service improvements across a broad transformation portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead HR and workforce transformation activity
- Oversee programmes already in delivery
- Improve governance and reporting
- Drive efficiencies and service improvement
- Provide strategic leadership across the portfolio
- Engage senior stakeholders across the council
About you:
- Strong HR transformation leadership experience
- Local Government background is essential
- Track record delivering complex change and savings
- Experience improving programme governance
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
