We are looking to recruit a Solder Repair Technician with Electronic Fault Finding who is looking for a hands‑on repair and fault‑finding role. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a small technical team, working on electrical and electronic repairs, on LED Video and Lighting products working down to component level. The Electronic knowledge is listed below.

The successful candidate will receive excellent 1:1 training enabling them to fulfil the job to our high standards. If your soldering skills are already good then this will be advantageous, but training will be given if necessary. You will also be expected to repair and test other electronic assemblies at a basic level, under guidance of our engineers.
- Hand soldering is either by using iron or hot air.
- To repair and test other electronic assemblies.
- To carry out electronic component changes.
- To log details of repairs made in accordance with Pixel Hospital procedures.
- To check goods in as they are delivered in accordance with Pixel Hospital procedures.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties which may be assigned from time to time.
- To adhere to electrical health and safety instructions and processes.
- To repair and test high Power LED’s either by hand soldering on heated bed or using Seamark ZM‑R720A machine or by wave soldering oven.
- Must understand logic gates and logic tables
- Must be able to read a circuit diagram and be aware of what each component does
- Must be able to reveres engineer a part of a PCB to produce a circuit diagram
- Must be able to understand how signals flow on a circuit board
- Must be able to use an oscilloscope and digital multimeter to fault find a circuit.
- Very good hand to eye coordination
- Very accurate hand control
- An ability to prioritise own workload showing good time management working in both a team and as an individual.
- An ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analysing information skilfully.
- Good communication skills - verbal, written and listening.
- Persistent in their determination to complete the job with a strong desire to learn and grow in their role with us
- A team player but confident enough to work on their own.
- Willingness to work additional hours from time to time to support a busy period.
- Excellent 1:1 training with experienced engineers within a small team
