VANRATH are partnering with a world-leading engineering manufacturer to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for their state-of-the-art facility in Campsie.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative business where you ll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement across production. Working alongside Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you ll help ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you ll be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes while supporting the successful introduction of new products into production.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimising manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from design through to production.
- Designing and implementing manufacturing layouts, tooling, fixtures and work instructions.
- Driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Investigating manufacturing issues and implementing effective engineering solutions.
- Working closely with Design Engineering to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture and assembly.
- Monitoring production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance.
- Maintaining accurate engineering documentation and manufacturing standards.
- Supporting capital equipment projects and the installation of new manufacturing technology.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer position.
- A solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of fabrication, assembly and modern manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
