As a Trustee, you will contribute to the organisation's strategic direction and overall governance. In addition to fortnightly online Board discussions, this role involves hands on involvement in delivering key areas of work and helping the charity to grow its impact. As a Trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of a charity working at the forefront of an emerging and often misunderstood health condition, supporting efforts to improve access to care, strengthen the evidence base, and build partnerships that drive meaningful change for people living with Long Covid.
We offer a full induction, buddy support and ongoing development opportunities. We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of Long Covid or other long term conditions. This could be through your own experience or by supporting someone close to you. We also encourage applications from younger people aged over 18 and those from diverse backgrounds. We are seeking individuals who can bring relevant skills, experience and perspective to the Board.
This may include:
- Charity governance
- Income generation
- Strategic planning or Organisational development
- Project Management
- Digital systems and communications
People with lived experience of Long Covid or other long term conditions. Experience in areas such as:

- Digital systems and communication
Minimum of 6 hours per month
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
