AboutThe Role
As Deputy Home Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the home. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality compassionate care that meets regulatory standards and enhances residents' quality of life. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, compassionate leader ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Home Manager with operational, clinical and staffing responsibilities.
- Lead and mentor nursing and care staff to deliver high quality care.
- Maintain compliance with RQIA regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure safe medication management and care planning.
- Foster a positive team culture and promote staff development.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior care role
- Demonstratable leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care and driving continuous improvement
