This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.

What you'll do:
  • Cook up mouth watering menu items, with a passion for perfection
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained
  • Contribute to a positive and innovative kitchen culture
  • Maintain full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and statutory regulations at all times.
  • Supervise and coordinate the team to ensure service delivery, cleaning schedules, front of house duties and cashing up procedures are completed to company and legal standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly in relation to allergen management and special dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and record temperature controls for fridges, freezers, hot cupboards and serveries in line with food safety legislation.
  • Store deliveries promptly and correctly using FIFO principles, ensuring safe and compliant stock rotation.
  • Maintain hospitality and service operations including production, service delivery and clear down.
  • Complete daily site tasks and adhere to site-specific security and emergency evacuation procedures.
What you'll bring:
  • Professional cookery or culinary qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Professional Cookery, or City & Guilds 706/2 (or equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Proven experience in a food production or catering environment, ideally within a contract catering or service-level driven operation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Food Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations, COSHH and safe working practices.
  • Understanding of allergen controls and dietary requirement management.
  • Experience supervising or leading a small team, particularly in a shift-based environment.
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and documentation standards accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and temperature monitoring with ability to follow structured procedures and documentation standards accurately.
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
