Our Team Support rate of pay starts from 15.14 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues at least 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also welcome you.
The table displayed the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will receive three weeks’ notice of when your shifts will be. We support flexibility, so if the times you are available to work closely match but are not exactly the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

- Being readily available to resolve customer and colleague queries, leaving them with a smile on their face.
- Ensuring the team is dressed for service and positively reflects our brand.
- Providing constructive feedback to the Team Manager on individuals’ contribution to serving customers well.
- Modeling great customer service and standards of dress, demonstrating a natural passion to delight our customers.
- Ensuring our colleagues have the tools to deliver their role well.
- Developing your own operational and behavioural skills.
- Forward planning to ensure the right resource is available at the right time in the coming week.
- Updating the Duty Manager to ensure they are kept well informed and able to pro‑actively support.
- Supporting managers to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Being knowledgeable of department KPI’s and delivering the practical actions required to achieve these.
- Getting to know your customers, greeting them with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- Taking time to listen and help out wherever you can.
- Making decisions that are right for our customers.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about our products and services.
- Always being there, on time and properly presented.
We only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver’s age. If the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine and spirits, counters, bakery and driving roles, candidates must be over the age of 18.
