To manage company and impressed stock to the highest standards while actively driving sales growth, developing new business accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customer accounts. The role requires methodical, commercially aware individual who can work independently while contributing to wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Stock & Inventory Management
  • Manage Imprest and owned stock in line with company processes and high inventory control standards.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring stock levels, rotation, and housekeeping meet company expectations.
  • Follow structured processes and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
Sales & Business Development
  • Promote company products and services, particularly within truck and trailer parts or similar sectors.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and secure new customer accounts.
  • Manage and grow existing key customers relationships, ensuring expectations are meet and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues across EMS to identify and secure new business opportunities in the area.
  • Work towards agreed sales and KPI targets.
Customer Service
  • Deliver excellent customer service both face to face and via telephone.
  • Function as a professional point on contact for customers, representing the company’s values and reputation.
  • Resolve customer queries effectively and make sound justifiable business decisions when required.
Operational & Reporting
  • Work independently while maintaining regular communication and reporting to the line manager.
  • Provide accurate updates on stock, sales performance, and customer activity.
  • Support business planning through structured reporting and feedback.
    • Demonstrate supervisory skills where required, supporting colleagues and promoting best practice.
    • Strive to achieve company goals, deadlines, and performance standards.
    • Always uphold and enhance the company’s professional reputation.
    Skills & Experience Required
    • Proven experience in stock handling and Sales ideally within truck and trailer parts or similar industry.
    • Strong understanding of stock processes, inventory control, and operational standards.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with management.
    • Commercially aware, and confident in making sound decisions.
    • Experience in working to targets and KPI-driven environments.
