As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying and building new business while managing your existing accounts. The ideal Sales Manager for Kemin Food Technologies has sales experience from the European food industry, preferably with a qualification in a food‑related subject. You will coordinate customer projects with a focus in United Kingdom &
Ireland.

ResponsibilitiesKemin Food Technologies Kemin manufactures and markets natural and synthetic ingredients designed to extend the shelf life of foods and beverages and keep them looking great, tasting delicious, safe and fresh longer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prospecting, making contacts, maintaining and closing of Food Technologies projects
- Identifying customer needs, evaluates the options, provides information on the mode of action of our technical products, addresses upcoming concerns, supports customer in product application;
- Using Insight and Consultative Selling techniques to enrich customers with insights on our products and new developments for their industry and offers unique perspectives on their business, which link back to KFT ‘s technical solutions;
- Establishing a relationship with every person who touches the sales process with our customer, i.e. product development, purchasing, marketing and board level management to gain complete understanding;
- Project Management as a key task to ensure success in the region and customer satisfaction;
- Supporting the implementation of product application on site with the customer and tracking possible change and further development with the accounts in future application of our products;
- Advancing the commercial reputation of Kemin through attending scientific events and trade shows;
- Gathering market information and trends;
- Setting the annual sales budget in agreement with the Regional Sales Manager;
- Ensuring the satisfaction of customers, being available for any kind of concerns, supports in finding solutions;
- Identification, selection and appointment of distributors for selected area together with the Regional Sales Manager;
- Management of distributors in the region;
- Identifying new applications for existing products, backed up with other Kemin departments;
- Documenting plans and projects regularly in the CRM database;
- SMART Forecasting as a way to communicate projections for operations and planning.
What we require of you:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Food technology / ingredients or equivalent by one’s experience;
- English Mother Tongue;
- Minimum of 3 years in a B2B sales area, preferably with the food industry;
- Good business understanding with an ability to influence the business at all levels;
- Proven competitive and commercial business skills, persuasive and a strong sales drive;
