Business Development Manager - Electrical Wholesale

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client, a market-leading electrical wholesale business, to recruit a Business Development Manager
. This is an exciting field-based opportunity covering the Donegal, Derry and Coleraine regions
, focused on developing new business, growing existing accounts and working closely with the Derry branch to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary

• Develop new business opportunities across the Donegal, Derry and Coleraine territory.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
• Build strong relationships with electrical contractors, industrial and commercial customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits, promoting the company's range of electrical products and solutions.
• Generate and follow up quotations, project enquiries and sales opportunities in partnership with the Derry branch.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and maximise revenue opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Work closely with internal sales, purchasing and suppliers to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.

• Previous experience within the electrical wholesale industry.
• Experience in an External Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management or Internal Sales role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and solutions.
• Proven success in developing new business and managing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially driven and able to manage a territory independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based within the Donegal, Derry or Coleraine area.
