Genesis Bakery is an established, award-winning bakery business with a proud heritage dating back to 1968. With an annual turnover in excess of £20m and a workforce of over 200 people, our products are sold in more than 500 stores across Northern Ireland, as well as through some of the UKs largest and most prestigious retailers.
We are now excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity within our growing Sales team for a National Accounts Manager. This is a key commercial role, ideal for a strategic, self-motivated and commercially focused individual who can build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and help expand our presence across the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver strategic sales plans across national retail and food service accounts, manage and grow key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and negotiate pricing, promotional activity and contract terms in line with company objectives. You will also monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback, working closely with NPD, marketing, production and technical teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in national account management, preferably within the FMCG or food industry. You will have strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, the ability to analyse data and translate insight into action, and confidence presenting sales reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
A degree in Business Administration or a related field is desirable, although equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally are essential.
