Retail Security Officer

Pay rate: £14.51 per hour

Contracted position: 27 hours per week. Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Lunch break is fully paid.

Retail Security Officer who brings energy, professionalism and calm presence to the shop floor. Responsible for protecting people, preventing loss and creating a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues.

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti‑social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

• A valid SIA licence (or SIA qualifications)
• A full 5‑year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)
