Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, for a Social Work Qualified Registered Manager. The Registered Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and management of residential services, ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for young people. Key responsibilities include leading a team of care staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, developing care plans, and maintaining high-quality standards.

The role also involves direct interaction with young people and engagement with stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Professional qualifications in Social Work and registration with the relevant regulatory body in the United Kingdom.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with experience supervising teams in a residential care or social work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding policies, and relevant regulatory frameworks in the United Kingdom.
  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices in young people’s support services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to supporting the well-being of young people.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staff development is an advantage.
