Salary/ Benefits
- Salary Scale: £29,430 -£34,197 per annum

About the Programme
Give and Take is a regional youth work intervention project to support young people aged 16 to 24 years old. It offers individually tailored programmes with core themes being; supported work experience, personal development, OCN qualifications, mentoring and transitional support.
About You
- 2 years experience working with disadvantaged and/or care experienced young people.
- 1 years experience in the design and delivery of group work programmes.
- A Relevant 3rd level qualification in social work, youth work, education or a related field
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and issues affecting care experienced and NEET young people.
- Commitment to Include Youths values and principals and to childrens rights.
- Up to date IT skills with excellent written and oral communications skills.
- The skill of oral presentation and the ability to produce a high standard of written reports and material pertaining to the project.
- Hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle. This criterion may be waived if a disability prohibits the applicant from driving. In this case, please demonstrate how you would meet the mobility requirements of this post.
- Ability to travel independently throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland and UK.
- Able to work outside normal office hours required
What youll do
- Support young people to identify their goals and develop personalised progression plans.
- Deliver employability and personal development programmes in group and one-to-one settings.
- Build partnerships with employers to secure valuable work experience opportunities.
- Help young people access education, training and employment pathways.
- Monitor progress and provide ongoing encouragement and support throughout their journey
