Support Worker
LOCATION: Abbey House
POST: Permanent and Reserve List for Full-Time/Part-Time Positions for the Derry~Londonderry Area
Abbey House provides older persons supported living accommodation giving support and care for up to 12 Housing with Care Tenants. It is situated in the city centre of Derry~Londonderry. Abbey provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year.
Essential Criteria
Must be currently registered with NISCC or must achieve registration within 6 months
Have successfully completed Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
AND
A minimum of 2 years experience in a formal setting working in a support role in a paid capacity with vulnerable adults
Previous experience in administrative duties.
Previous supervisory experience
Must be willing to undertake and successfully complete if required:
Level 3 certificate in management (ILM )
Level 4 & or Level 5 Health & Social care qualification in line with NISCC CiP framework
Have experience in using computer systems in previous work settings and be able to demonstrate same.
This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI check. Please refer to attached link:
