Driver Helpers

Permanent / Full Time hours / /GM/02/26

Minimum 40 hours - Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Base locations:
Craigmore Road, Garvagh AND Electra Road, Maydown

We are looking to appoint Driver Helpers to join our busy Logistics Team in our Maydown and Garvagh depots
.

• To provide assistance to the Driver at all times
• Obtain all necessary documentation for the daily runs to ensure efficient operation of the business activities
• Check customer routing for the daily runs, prioritising workloads to ensure all customer commitments are achieved
• Provide excellent customer service that supports the River Ridge brand
• Due to the physical nature of the role, you will be required to collect and move commercial containers
• Ensure all electronic paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points)
• Good Geographical knowledge of NI
• Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience in dealing with customers and members of the public
• Ability to work well with others / Team Player
• Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Flexible approach to working hours to include weekends and Bank Holidays

• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience working within the Transport Sector
• Any offer of employment will be subject to successful security clearances*

• Competitive Hourly Rate - £12.80 per hour
• Annual Bonus scheme available
• Overtime rate of Time and a Half for hours worked over 44 hours/Mon-Fri
• Saturday and Bank Holiday rate of Time and a Half
