We're looking for a motivated, relationship-focused Tax Manager who enjoys leading people, serving clients, and solving complex tax issues. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, collaborative team member, and trusted advisor who is passionate about delivering high-quality service.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the lead advisor for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
• Review complex tax returns, tax projections, and planning strategies.
• Oversee client engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and exceptional service.
• Mentor and develop Supervisors, Staff Accountants, and Interns.
• Meet with clients throughout the year to provide tax planning and consulting services.
• Analyze and respond to IRS and other tax authority notices.
• Assist with business development, networking, and cultivating referral relationships.
• Support firm initiatives, recruiting efforts, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and planning.
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience managing and developing accounting professionals.
• Business development and networking experience.
• Experience serving as the primary advisor for a client portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional client service.
