American Equity seeks an Investment Accounting Intern to assist the Investment Accounting team with daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and reporting for the company’s investments. The role provides hands‑on training and exposure to GAAP and STAT accounting across fixed income, private placements, and derivatives.
