We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for a growing organization in Des Moines, IA. This is a fully on-site opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with high-volume transactions.
Responsibilities
+ Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
+ Assist with accounts receivable activities, including payment application and account reconciliation.
+ Verify invoices, match supporting documentation, and ensure timely processing.
+ Maintain accurate financial records and data entry within the accounting system.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a related accounting support role.
+ Ability to manage a large volume of AP invoices on a daily basis.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and accounting software.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
+ Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the corporate office for training.
