Onsite About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a growing organization's accounting and finance team. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in manufacturing, inventory accounting, and general ledger operations who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Staff Accountant will play an important role in supporting month-end close activities, maintaining accurate inventory and financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the integrity of accounting transactions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), a solid understanding of manufacturing accounting processes, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities General Accounting & Month-End Close Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations. Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation as needed. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting Support inventory accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting. Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate recording within the accounting system. Assist with inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing-related accounting activities. Work closely with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and related reconciliations. Analyze inventory movements and identify potential reporting or accounting issues. Support cost accounting activities and manufacturing variance analysis…
