What We Are Looking For :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team in O'Fallon, MO, just outside St. Louis. This role supports month-end close, maintains accurate inventory and financial records, prepares financial reports, and protects the integrity of accounting transactions in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience, a solid grasp of manufacturing and inventory accounting, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a 100% onsite position.

What You Will Do:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations. Support inventory accounting, including reconciliations, adjustments, valuation, and COGS. Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and related reconciliations. Partner with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory discrepancies. Support cost accounting and manufacturing variance analysis.

Prepare recurring financial and operational reports and monthly reporting packages. Use Microsoft Dynamics GP for GL transactions, inventory reporting, and reconciliations. Support external audits, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and reporting accuracy. What We Provide:
