Job DescriptionThe Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of Community Access, Bureau of Eligibility Determinations is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant 1 to join our team. New hires will start at a base salary of $15.92 hourly ($1,273.60 biweekly, $33,113.60 annually).
Core Essential Functions- Process incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and emails, including scanning, indexing, and uploading.
- Copy, collate, scan, upload, and distribute documents for workers.
- Input information into various computer applications.
- Answer general questions and route calls coming in on multiple phone lines in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Provide reception coverage, respond to questions, and route customers in a professional and courteous manner, which may include coverage in other county offices.
- File administrative materials, correspondence, and reports.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Perform backup responsibilities for all clerical staff or as assigned.
