Founded in 1973, ISG is excited to bolster our team with a creative Architect to support our Residential + Mixed-Use Business Unit. As an Architect, you will be an ISG Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions.

Compensation: $65,000 - $165,000 / year
ISG is looking to immediately expand our team as we provide unmatched services for our Housing clients—crafting exceptional multi-family and mixed use residential that truly set them apart. Our ideal candidate will have valuable depth and breadth in our industry, and at a minimum will be a skilled communicator with a passion for award-winning design who possesses valuable technical knowledge, provides proven leadership, and displays great problem-solving skills.
We’ll need you to jump in headfirst on a broad range of housing-related work, including collaboration between diverse design teams, clients, and stakeholders serving multi, mixed-use, senior living, student living, land development, and more.
In this role, you will work closely with Neil Gray, Residential + Mixed-Use Business Unit Leader, Linda Lavis, Business Unit Executive and Jeremy Wiesen, AIA, Architecture Group Leader. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for design and project collaboration, project execution, code review and evaluations, specification writers, visualization specialists, and construction administrators.

Essential Duties
- Work interactively with clients and other design professionals in a creative environment on a broad range of unique housing projects
- Work directly with clients in all phases of design process to construction, including master planning, documentation, funding development, programming, and presenting
- Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-discipline team
- Serve as a mentor and build the team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with multifamily and mixed use projects
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program
- Licensed to practice architecture
- Ability to connect and promote ISG’s solutions to clients
- Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal communications
- Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
- Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Experience in multifamily and mixed use development design and creating detailed architectural drawings
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
