Ampact is seeking Reading Tutors to join Reading Corps in Des Moines, IA. You’ll help students improve reading skills at local schools, using proven activities and coaching. Training is provided to guide you every step of the way.
Typical schedule is weekdays with 35 hours per week during the 2026-27 school year, with some 20-hour positions available. Ameri Corps members receive a biweekly stipend, health insurance, childcare assistance, and education benefits.
