Operations Manager, Electrical Engineering
Purpose
Coordinate field operations and installation teams, enforce standards, advanced knowledge in data center networking, and serve as a liaison between engineering and site crews.
ResponsibilitiesManage daily tasks and priorities for on‑site teams. Enforce safety practices, QA/QC standards, and accurate documentation. Support material tracking, issue resolution, and field performance reviews. Interface with OMS Engineers, Project Management, and Safety teams. Lead team of network engineers, providing guidance and training.
Compensation$35.00 – $40.00 per hour.
QualificationsPhysical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be self‑motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s).
- Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
- Must act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
- Must possess proven problem‑solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentation(s).
- Must be able to work at various heights on a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
- Regular attendance is mandatory.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- 4‑6+ years of field experience in telecom or cabling infrastructure.
- 3+ years in network infrastructure.
- Proven leadership capabilities and mentorship experience.
- FOA CFOT, BICSI Tech, or OSHA 30 strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
