Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Research, design, plan, and perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines. Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology.
Responsibilities
- Engineering Solutions Design:
Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions. - Health, Safety, and Environment:
Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate. - Waste Management:
Lead waste projects or supervise area of the organization, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective reduction, segregation, and disposal of waste. - Technical Troubleshooting:
Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments. - Technical Developments Recommendation:
Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs. - Engineering Drawings:
Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions. - Data Collection and Analysis:
Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently. - Project Management:
Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. - Testing:
Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards. - Research:
Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role. - Personal Capability Building:
