Your Opportunity

This role is for a Civil Design EIT focusing on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. You will work on Data Center projects across the country, serving Fortune 10 companies with transformational projects. Responsibilities include site due diligence, design, entitlement approvals, permitting, and construction. You will be exposed to different design requirements across multiple regions and project sizes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks under supervision, including site design, code review, grading, drainage, utility design, and specifications.
• Use relevant software for civil design tasks.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and project partners.
• Perform field work as directed.
• Perform calculations and assist in project tasks of varying complexity.
• Gather data and interpret codes and standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Capabilities And Credentials

• Interest in Mission Critical/Data Center projects and major commercial projects.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, team player.
• Flexible to dynamic project needs and fast-paced schedules.
• Ability to coordinate virtually across regions.
• Understanding of civil engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas.
• Willing to train and grow skills in civil site design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and programs.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with successful EIT exam completion or ability to take it within six months.
• Related internship or co-op experience preferred for new graduates; 1-2 years of civil engineering experience for others.

Pay Range

• Locations in MN, VT, & CA, NY - Min: $65,800 - Max: $92,100

Final compensation depends on education, experience, and location. Some roles are bonus eligible.
