Civil Engineer - Water

• Focus on large‑scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, leading significant portions of facilities from design to construction and startup.
• Hands‑on involvement in reports, technical memos, detailed designs, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Participate in scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration; support business development and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects.
• Assist in identifying key client interests and drivers on less complex projects, and communicate client needs to the project team.

• Perform design from conceptual and bid phases through completion.
• Assist the Engineering Manager with schedules, budgets, and sub‑consultant management.
• Interface directly with clients or sub‑consultants, support business development, and write technical approaches.
• Apply civil engineering knowledge to complex projects, developing non‑standard design solutions.
• Lead, guide, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Communicate effectively with other disciplines and project teams.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and conduct research for equipment and materials selection.
• Manage assigned budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Oversee data management and lead smaller production teams as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Licensed PE or pursuing registration.
• Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design (infra‑structure, conveyance, pump stations/lift stations).
• Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Professional engineering registration is preferred or in active pursuit.

• Hybrid or flexible work options available after 90 days, based on performance.
• Typical office and construction environments, with exposure to extreme weather, high noise, safety hazards, chemicals, and atmospheric conditions.
• Physical tasks may include sitting, walking, standing, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds.
