Opportunity- Focus on large‑scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, leading significant portions of facilities from design to construction and startup.
- Hands‑on involvement in reports, technical memos, detailed designs, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
- Participate in scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration; support business development and proposal preparation.
- Coordinate with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects.
- Assist in identifying key client interests and drivers on less complex projects, and communicate client needs to the project team.
- Perform design from conceptual and bid phases through completion.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with schedules, budgets, and sub‑consultant management.
- Interface directly with clients or sub‑consultants, support business development, and write technical approaches.
- Apply civil engineering knowledge to complex projects, developing non‑standard design solutions.
- Lead, guide, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Communicate effectively with other disciplines and project teams.
- Prepare complex engineering deliverables and conduct research for equipment and materials selection.
- Manage assigned budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Oversee data management and lead smaller production teams as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Licensed PE or pursuing registration.
- Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design (infra‑structure, conveyance, pump stations/lift stations).
- Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Professional engineering registration is preferred or in active pursuit.
Work Environment / Physical Demands- Hybrid or flexible work options available after 90 days, based on performance.
- Typical office and construction environments, with exposure to extreme weather, high noise, safety hazards, chemicals, and atmospheric conditions.
- Physical tasks may include sitting, walking, standing, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds.
