Purpose of Role

The Lead Network Engineer will be responsible to provide subject matter expertise on the design, implementation, and operational support of the UA global network. This role will primarily be focused on supporting the Under Armour Distribution house, corporate, and retail environments.

Your Impact

• Design, implement, and document network architecture

• Research, develop and evaluate, recommend and integrate new network technologies

• Develop, update and maintain network documentation

• Lead, participate and collaborate with cross functional teams from architecture, other engineering groups, security, infrastructure, and vendors

• Provide peer review on all changes and designs

• Lead and drive all network designs to meet operational support requirements

• Tier 4 support for critical escalations

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and r 8+ years of experience managing complex network environment using Cisco and cloud technologies.

• Network tools and automation experience.

• Experience managing complex network environment: SD-WAN, cloud firewall, on-prem firewall, network access control, wireless environments, and AWS networking.

• Certificates, please list in resume

• CCNA required, CCNP preferred (or equivalent knowledge xperience)

• AWS Solutions Architect (or equivalent knowledge xperience)

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore HQ office.

• Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

• Travel: 10%

• Licenses/Certifications: CCNA required, CCNP and AWS Solutions Architect preferred.
