Houston Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Des Moines, IA team. The role focuses on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of rural watersheds and riverine systems, with data-supported field investigations and FEMA-compliant flood studies.
You will use HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, ArcGIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and related tools to support flood risk analysis and stormwater design projects. Strong communication and project coordination are essential.
