Responsibilities- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that every area of the facility is free of dirt, dust, litter, and debris.
- Walk the garage daily to identify and correct maintenance problems.
- Sweep and pick up around garage entrances, exits, stairwells, and all surface areas, including the booth, office, and rest rooms.
- Empty all trash cans in the garage, booth, and office.
- Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the manager to maintain a neat, clean appearance.
- Replace burned‑out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit repair or maintenance requests and check conditions of safety items such as gate arms.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operation, ticket supply, time accuracy, and general appearance.
- Provide ticket and gate counter records to the manager.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment such as weed eaters or lawnmowers as required.
- Clear snow from entrances/exits and designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other light‑duty equipment.
- Report any safety hazards, violations, or unusual occurrences to the manager promptly.
- Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and the Five Customer Service Behaviors for successful customer interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the manager.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor aid.
- Be familiar with all aspects of operation and cover other duties (cashier, attendant, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance, arriving in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education. Facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience is preferred and may be required depending on the assignment.
License: Must hold and maintain a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
Availability: Availability to work third shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location hiring needs.

Physical Demands: Regularly uses hands and fingers, communicates with customers and employees, sits, reaches, stands, walks, climbs, balances, kneels, crouches, twists, turns, stretches, and bends frequently. Must lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly and move quickly. Requires close, peripheral, and focus vision. Must tolerate dust, chemicals, and extreme weather conditions.
Salary$22.36 per hour (+ tips). Tips are eligible in addition to the posted hourly rate.
