Associate Accountant

Join our Finance team as an Associate Accountant supporting RIS Finance. You will perform daily balancing, transaction processing, system reconciliations, wire and ACH handling, exception resolution, and accounting research—requiring accuracy and keen attention to detail.

• Perform various reconciliation and balancing processes, maintaining accuracy and supporting financial integrity.
• Handle tax‑related activities, including researching and processing tax form corrections and assisting with compliance throughout the year.
• Process internal funds and ensure proper allocation of the funds.
• Record and post financial transactions, conduct month‑end close activities, and prepare routine journal entries.
• Analyze and report financial data, including variance analysis and delivering management information reports for decision‑making.
• Support compliance and internal controls, including SOX requirements, data integrity checks, and risk mitigation techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time‑sensitive conditions.
• Skilled in Excel, bank/GL reconciliations, and transaction posting.
• Experience with tax reporting, Principal Accounting systems, and transactional accounting activities.

• CPA or other applicable certifications.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

Salary Range (Non‑Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$22.07 – $28.85 / hour

Non‑sales positions may participate in a bonus program. Compensation overall is based on geographic location, experience, education, licensure, and skill level.

Time Off Program

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non‑exempt) employees. PTO can be used for vacation, personal or short‑term illness.
