About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. This pivotal role involves serving as a senior advisor, leading all financial management activities, and driving the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for influencing long-term strategy, leading accounting, treasury, budgeting, reporting, and compliance across multiple divisions, and building scalable financial systems to support the company's expansion.
Additionally, the CFO will be tasked with managing key relationships with external partners, championing innovation in financial technology, and developing a high-performing finance and accounting team. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role, and a strong background in construction, development, or related industries.
The role requires a proven track record of scaling a company through operational discipline and strategic foresight, expertise in construction finance, and experience with M&A, strategic planning, and capital markets. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to translate complex financials into actionable insights, and a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
