Stylist

The Stylist engages with guests, consults on hair care needs, recommends products and services, and delivers quality professional services emphasizing the guest’s total look.

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing.
• Meet or exceed a weekly sales goal of $800 and productivity goals while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Demonstrate business acumen, support in‑store events and marketing initiatives, and stay informed about industry trends.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations, ensuring high standards of customer service and salon image.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and the retail team to deliver a total‑store guest experience.
• Maintain compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Book guests for return services and events, communicate supply needs, and keep salon areas clean and operational.

• Cosmetology license.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and related techniques.
• Ability to recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Frequent mobility, lifting up to 10 lbs., and repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and manipulate objects continuously during shifts.
