Make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional imaging care and supporting patient safety. As a CT Technologist, you’ll serve as a vital link between the Radiology Department, hospital staff, physicians, and students. In this role, you will educate and protect patients entering the CT scanning room, assist with patient sedation and monitoring, support the training of Student Radiologic Technologists, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities- Serve as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff, and physicians.
- Educate and protect all customers entering the CT scanning room.
- Assist with sedating and monitoring of patients.
- Assist in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
- Assist with quality assurance processes.
- Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT CT Board Certification required within 6 months of hire.
- CT experience strongly preferred.
- Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
- CPR certified.
- Maintain yearly CEU requirements.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
