Job Description

This position is eligible for relocation assistance and housing stipend depending on location.

Employment type:

Full time.

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from the clinical team to determine radiology needs of patients.
• Implementation of thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• Maintains active registry status in ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
