Job Description
This position is eligible for relocation assistance and housing stipend depending on location.
Employment type:
Full time.
- Efficient interpretation of clinical information from the clinical team to determine radiology needs of patients.
- Implementation of thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
- Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
- Routinely applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
- Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
- Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practice.
- Maintains active registry status in ARRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
