Position Overview:

As a Cath Lab RN, you'll play a vital role in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, delivering direct patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. This role demands strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab and other procedural areas.

* Perform as scrub tech, circulator, and hemodynamic monitor.

* Monitor patients under conscious sedation and manage IV therapy.

* Respond to cardiac emergencies using BLS/ACLS protocols.

* Educate patients and families, and document care thoroughly.

* Maintain equipment, supplies, and regulatory standards.

* Support quality improvement and mentor new team members.

Qualifications:

* Associate degree required; BSN preferred.

* Current Iowa RN license.

* BLS, ACLS, Mandatory Reporter certification.

* 2+ years Cath Lab or 3+ years critical care experience preferred.

* Strong cardiac care knowledge, including EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring.

* Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
