Behavioral Health Therapist LISW​/LMHC

Overview

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapies.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
• Participate in team conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop evaluation and therapy plans.
• Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interactions, and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on adaptation to diagnoses, treatments, and life situations.
• Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members.
• Ensure confidentiality, maintain compliance with documentation standards, and keep records as required.
• Some travel may be required.

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field; LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW licensure in Iowa.
