We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients from children onward.
- Provide individual, family, and marital therapy, including crisis intervention and emergency services.
- Participate in staff conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop tailored therapy programs.
- Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, interventions, and interactions per guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on adapting to diagnoses and treatment processes.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources and liaise with external agencies.
- Offer consultative support to healthcare team members within scope of practice.
- Ensure confidentiality and comply with legal and organizational record-keeping standards.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure (LMHC, LMSW, etc.) in Iowa. Some travel may be required.
Work Location: In person.
