Job Details

Compensation: $11 per hour plus tips. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, education, and location.

Work Schedule: Typical shifts are 7 am – 3 pm or 3 pm – 11 pm.

Summary

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests, including parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a safe and efficient experience.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. (25%)
  • Use salutations of the day, greet guests within five feet, and practice proper phone etiquette. (10%)
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assists with bell services and luggage as needed, and opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests. (20%)
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries; provides information on facility amenities and local attractions; delivers messages, items, and guest amenities; shuttles guests as approved. (10%)
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures, issues claim checks, maintains ticket information, calculates revenue, and collects claim checks securely. (35%)
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Licensure & Certification
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance of the state of work
Work Experience
  • One (1) month of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge
  • Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Skills
  • Read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
  • Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings with guests and employees
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide three‑digit numbers and apply them to American money units
  • Understand 24‑hour and military time systems and rates applicable to time passed
  • Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
  • Perform parallel parking
