The Opportunity

The HR Generalist plays a key role in shaping BLK & Bold’s people experience and culture. Reporting directly to the Chief Values Officer, this role combines strategic insight with hands‑on execution across all areas of HR.

You’ll manage HR operations—including employee relations, benefits, and compliance—while also helping drive engagement, growth, and belonging within the organization.

Core Responsibilities
People Operations
  • Manage daily HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Maintain HR records, systems, and compliance with regulations.
  • Support payroll accuracy with Finance.
Culture & Engagement
  • Foster a values‑driven culture of inclusion and accountability.
  • Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and resource for employees.
Talent & Development
  • Support full‑cycle recruiting and onboarding.
  • Identify employee growth and development opportunities.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a small to mid‑sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and drive results.
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in a mission‑driven or manufacturing environment a plus.
