Director, Global Compensation Lead
KPMG US is seeking a Director, Global Compensation Lead to join our KPMG International organization and oversee global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs in alignment with member firm principles and KPMGI business objectives.
- Adapt compensation frameworks to meet global objectives, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
- Collaborate with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of compensation principles across locations.
- Work with Finance Business Planning to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Use advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends, providing data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful work environment.
- 12+ years of recent experience in global compensation management with strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.
- Master’s degree preferred;
Bachelor’s in business, human resources, or related field required. - Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Success Factors), proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services organization.
- Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
- Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to think strategically and link action plans to business priorities.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; KPMG will not sponsor employment‑based visas for this position.
Compensation ranges are governed by local regulations and are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, personal well‑being programs, paid time off, and holiday calendars.
