Payroll Supervisor

Description

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sheet metal industry leader, is adding a full‑time Payroll Supervisor to our HR Operations team. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee and participate in the processing of all office payroll to ensure team members are paid accurately and on time. You will provide guidance and support to HR Operations Analysts in carrying out a variety of HR functions and demonstrate deep knowledge of payroll regulations, proficiency with payroll systems, and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and internal client service skills.

• Oversee and manage the end‑to‑end payroll processing cycle, including collecting and reviewing team member timekeeping information, calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions.
• Provide guidance and support to HR Operations Analysts in delivering HR functions.
• Establish strong relationships with internal clients, serving as a point of contact for payroll inquiries (salary, deductions, tax matters).
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Analysts to ensure data accuracy in HR systems and deliver positive employee experiences across all HR administrative services.
• Prioritize tasks independently to meet deadlines and serve team members by answering questions and modeling high performance.
• Generate reports and summaries of payroll expenses, taxes, benefits, and deductions for leadership or accounting, and review them for accuracy.

• 5‑7 years of payroll accounting experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
