About the Role
Open Loop is looking fora Web Designer to join our team at HQ in Des Moines, IA. Inthis role, you will be responsible for creating front-end designs for B2B andD2C websites, owning multiple sites across the Open Loop brand and partners. Youwill collaborate cross functionally to optimize user experience, site performance, and conversion. Design branded landing pages, digital ads, and support marketing collateral, including printed materials and product packaging,ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand experience.
NOTE: We are seeking local candidates (in or near
Des Moines), in order to fulfill the hybrid in-office schedule requirement. The required days onsite will be Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Relocation is not offered for this position.
What You'll Do
- Own the design and iteration of multiple websites across the Open Loop brand and company partners.
- Design branded, high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with our conversion rate optimization team. You’ll dive deep into thedata to understand what’s working, what’s not, and create new designs to drive rapid growth.
- Work closely with the web development team to ensure designs are accurately translated into code. Be obsessive about quality and site performance.
- SEO is critical to our business. You will work with ourSEO team to design with site speed and structure in mind.
- Design digital image ads for platforms like Instagram and Linked In.
- Work collaboratively with the design team to support other projects, including printed materials such as sales brochures, presentations, product labels,posters, fliers, and direct mail materials (branded boxes, post cards, etc) asneeded.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications,or a related field required.
- 5+ years of front end webdesign experience focused on websites and landing pages.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (Webflow, Word Press), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset; able to leverage engagement and conversion data to optimize user journeys.
Experience with conversion rate optimization in high-volume environments preferred. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and clearly articulate ideas.
- Self-starter comfortable creating structure in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in startups or high-growth organizations ishighly desired.
- Ideally you have a background in eCommerce,Hub Spot landing pages/emails, or digital ad design.
- Familiarity with healthcare marketing strategies is a strong plus.
