Position: Automated Regression Tester

Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 – Hybrid

Interview Type: Web Cam or In-Person

Rate: $30/hr

Role Overview:

The Automated Regression Testing Team is responsible for developing and maintaining a fully automated regression test suite for the ELIAS application. This role will involve transforming business test cases into automated coverage, maintaining the TOSCA test suite, and enhancing automation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Transform business test cases into automated test scripts.
• Develop repeatable, fully automated tests using Tricentis TOSCA, operating without manual intervention.
• Provide creative solutions for automation challenges.
• Rapidly update tests for application changes.
• Build out "lights-out" unattended automation.
• Implement risk-based testing techniques.
• Execute unattended testing and maintain the test environment.

Team Goals:

• Migrate from WORKSOFT to TOSCA test suite.
• Maintain and expand current test coverage for ELIAS application.
• Enhance test suite capabilities for multi-version testing.

Required Skills (2+ years):

• Automated test development using TOSCA.
• Automated functional regression testing.
• Lights-out unattended automation.
• Ability to follow QA framework & guidelines.
• Ability to develop creative, repeatable automation solutions.

Additional Required Skills (5+ years):

• Proficient in using third-party tools & system utilities.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Experience working effectively in project teams.

Highly Desired:

• Knowledge of Dev Ops concepts & continuous testing.
• Medicaid Eligibility, 508 testing, CMS regulations.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Risk-based testing techniques.
• Batch testing experience.
