This Lead Architect, operating from a strategic leadership position, is instrumental in designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing the architectural strategy for all clinical and utilization management applications
. Their expertise spans application, solution, information, technology, and business domains, ensuring comprehensive architectural solutions that meet the most complex business capabilities and needs.

They establish the technical product vision and architectural roadmap for critical initiatives such as data integration, cloud migration, and AI integration, extending this strategic oversight across all clinical and utilization management applications
. This involves ensuring the completeness and integrity of complex architectures by addressing stakeholder concerns, reconciling conflicting viewpoints, and transparently communicating technical trade-offs. They design robust enterprise and solution architectures, lead cloud migration strategies, and architect advanced AI/ML integrations, always prioritizing practicality and fitness-for-purpose.

This role leads advanced requirements elicitation, translating high-level strategic objectives into detailed, actionable architectural and technical requirements. They conduct comprehensive impact analyses – including regulatory, operational, and financial implications – for proposed architectural changes or new capabilities. Collaborating closely with product owners, they define technical epics and stories, acting as the primary technical interface for senior business stakeholders to articulate architectural decisions and strategic implications.

Continuously leveraging deep business and technology knowledge, this architect enables and alters business processes, practices, organizations, and systems. They maintain a keen awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices in data integration, cloud, and AI, applying this knowledge to drive innovation. They may lead critical projects as a Project Lead for special assignments and consistently mentor less experienced team members, fostering technical excellence across the organization.

• Lead to provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies based on customer capability requirements. Facilitate development of the most complex enterprise business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques. Lead and participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
• Specify and design large or the most complex systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure elements, or processes. Select appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensures that they are applied effectively. Lead reviews of others’ system design to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology. Establish policy for selection of architecture components. Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on the most complex major design options.
  
  Ensure that the system architecture balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
• Use appropriate tools, including models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of the most complex architectures. Produce detailed component requirements, specifications and translates these into detailed solutions/designs for implementation using selected products.
