ERP & Business Systems Specialist

Position Summary

The ERP & Business Systems Specialist is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s Net Suite ERP system, including master data management, reporting, analytics, and system enhancements. This role supports continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, standardize processes, automate tasks, and improve operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the company’s Net Suite ERP system, including system configurations, user access, roles, permissions, and workflows, to ensure functionality, security, and efficiency.
• Manage the setup, maintenance, accuracy, and standardization of master data records, including employees, customers, vendors, items, bills of materials (BOMs), and standard costs.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Net Suite dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), saved searches, and custom reports to provide accurate, actionable business insights across departments.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve business processes, automate routine tasks, reduce manual data entry, and increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to map business processes and create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation to promote consistency and standardization.
• Evaluate existing Net Suite functionality and new features to identify opportunities for improvement, implement system enhancements, and ensure business systems align with evolving operational needs.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), evaluate system updates, identify and resolve issues, and support Net Suite release cycles to minimize business disruptions and ensure successful implementation.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and other departments to understand business requirements and develop effective system and process solutions.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to employees on Net Suite functionality, reporting tools, standardized processes, and new system features to encourage adoption and effective use.
• Maintain data integrity, reporting standards, system documentation, and internal controls while identifying opportunities to leverage automation and emerging technologies to improve business performance and support company growth.
• Meets all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements; participate in food safety meetings as required.
• Cultivates and promotes a strong safety culture and follows all safety policies, procedures, and regulations; identifies and communicates workplace hazards and corrects or seeks assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions; participates in safety meetings as required.
